Nailah And Nessa Quick Rise To Soca Stardom

Nailah Blackman And Nessa Preppy - They Came, They Saw, They Conqured In Less Than Three Years

It was Carnival 2017 in Trinidad when the granddaughter of the Father of soca music Nailah Blackman bolted out of the starting blocks with the hit song Work Out which she sung together with Soca superstar Kes the Band. Then it was Carnival 2018 when another young sexy talent, Nessa Preppy rose from small local music circles to global soca stardom with her big hit tune Tingo. Both songs were big soca hits but who would have predicted this was just the beginning of a string of other hit songs to come in following years from these two young Trinidadian women.
