This past Tuesday, Trinidadian Soca star Nailah Blackman shares the news on her Instagram that she has been invited to join the Recording Academy. This means she is now eligible to win a Grammy. The Recording Academy is responsible for the Grammy Awards. A person cannot win or vote for the Grammys unless they are part of the academy. This year more than 2,300 music professionals were invited to the coveted membership
