The Home of Caribbean Style Carnivals Around The World Has Cancelled Their 'Greatest Show On Earth' for 2021 As Of Now
Carnival in Trinidad is not on! Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley made the statement a short while ago during the wrap up of today's Spotlight on the Budget and the Economy.
He said Carnival is a perfect environment for the spread of the Coronavirus. The Prime Minister said he knows the decision will have a serious knock-on effect regarding the economic activity associated with Carnival, but he implied it is better to be safe than sorry However the soca world does not expect Canrival being cancelled or delayed in the Soca Kingdom (Trinidad) to stop or slow down the expected releases of new soca music. Much respect for Trinidad PM. People's best interest first above personal and economic gain. I believe the resilient people of Trinidad will find creative, safer, and low crowd ways to party.
