Sanctions-Mouth Moonilal Dismisses Talk Of Cuss-Out With Kamla, Ready To Teach UNC Newbies

No Longer Interested In Sanctions, Moonilal Looks Towards Being UNC Newbies Teacher

With the 2020 general elections fever in full swing in Trinidad and Tobago, controversial UNC Oropouche East MP Roodal Moonilal yesterday said to CNC3 news media that rumours of a “cuss-out” between him and UNC leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar at last Saturday’s meeting (with incumbents) was completely false and bizarre.
“I’m grateful to the leader and screening team for expressing a vote of confidence in me to continue the journey of representing Oropouche East,” Moonilal said.
Acknowledging he’s among the most senior and experienced MPs on the team now, Moonilal said, “I look forward to working with the new MPs and transferring knowledge I’ve acquired over the years to the new generation of leaders.”
He also brushed off claims of an impending police matter surrounding the recent protests in Port-of-Spain.
Recent Controversy surrounding Roodal Moonilal
Moonilal who wrote a letter on April 28th to United States Ambassador Joseph Mondello drawing attention to a shipment of fuel from Paria-trading fuel company to Venezuela has always justified his action on calling for sanctions. It is important to point out that he never received a response from Mondello or the US ambassador on the issue.
Last week Moonilal was also probed by police in Trinidad and Tobago about relations with criminal gangs in the country
