Final Results Confirmed; PNM Takes Popular Vote And 22 Seats To Win 2020 T&T Election




 

Preliminary final results coming out from the August 10th election in Trinidad and Tobago have been published by the Election and Boundaries Commission. The results confirm the ruling PNM (People National Movement) winning the general election with a majority 22 out of 41 seats being won and also winning the popular vote with 322, 250 votes casted by the T&T electorate in their favour. Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley the political leader of the PNM is seeking a second term in office.
