'Stage Gone Bad' Easily Takes Road March

If there was any question about another song defeating the energetic "Stage Gone Bad" for road march, it was easily mashed up, shelled down and turned over long before Carnival Tuesday came to an end in the Soca Kingdom.

This popular song was themes dominant and requested song on the road and at judging points throughout the entire day. Late Carnival Monday evening as the popular band Tribe was crossing the Savannah Stage, soca icon Machel Montano was on atop a truck singing Conch Shell, when masqueraders began chanting "Iwer" as they demanded Stage Gone Bad be played. The DJs in the music trucks obliged. Stage Gone Bad was also the preferred choice for most bands crossing the stage including Harts, Yuma and Bliss at the infamous Socadrome.

Congratulations to Iwer George and Kes on winning the Road March for 2020 Trinidad Carnival. For more on Soca music and Trinidad and Tobago Carnival visit Soca Music Tv on Facebook.
